AH-64

The AH-64 Apache is one of the best helicopter today. The Apache has a wide range of uses, some of them are: escort, close support, search and destroy, and many other things. All in all the best and the easiest way to explain the Apache is to just say that it is an all weather attack helicopter.

Weapons

The only weapon on the Apache that is always on it is the single barrel 30mm Chain Gun with a maximum of 1200 rounds, this weapon is used for light armoured vehicles and troops. There are four under wing hardpoints on the Apache on these there can ether be 16 Hellfire anti-tank missiles or seventy-two 2.75-inch (70mm) rockets (FFAR [Folding Fin Aerial Rochets]). These can also be combined together. Another weapon that is carried on the Apache most of the time is the AIM-9 Sidewinder Air-to-Air missiles, there can be 4 of they's carried on the end of the wing stubs (two on each end).
